I painted yesterday, so check in the art if interested. As for today, I have been shying away from depicting the situation in Haiti because so many of the images seem to be biased depictions of what is happening there, raising questions for me of the post-colonialist filters in our media, the act of disembodiment with storytelling/reporting and the disengagement between image and word: how does one attempt to describe the scope of a problem?
